Lost Love Note
I just found a love note I forgot to send I'm not over you, I dont even want to pretend I still have love for you, even though we no longer speak I gave you all of the love I didn't receive A relationship won't work when the love only goes one way We've both been hurt before, But I didn't run away Instead I followed you thinking you wanted to be caught I held you up so you could never fall short He made you cry, I was the one who wiped your eyes You didn't notice that I was crying inside Because I hid my own pain to mend yours I shown enough love on my own That it could end wars You took advantage of my good nature Because you're so pretty, you acted like You were doing me a favour By letting me help you, well I'm glad You made me look stupid Because Now I've found common sense and I'll use it I loved you, but you weren't worthy of my heart I wanted to paint us a picture, but you don't deserve to be in my art Which is hypocritical as I just wrote about you in my poetry Thank you for leaving, because I don't need someone like you close to me
