Wanna Know What Hurts
Wanna know what hurts? Liking your best friend who has a girlfriend, And she is not just any girl. This girl is your friend, You're not that close but still. It hurts knowing even though they cant say a word to one another, You and Him talk all the time. But, he will always just see you as his best friend. When your friend rub it in your face on how cute they are together, Without knowing how its crushing you inside but you sit quietly and agree. When her friends make fun of him and she laughs, Oh, how she laughed. But, you're there for him when he finds out. He gets mad at her and says nothing. Then makes excuses to ignore the problem. Even though he doesn't want to show his face because of her and her friends, You still tell him that it doesn't matter what she says it matters what he knows. It hurts that you'll never call him yours, This person who makes you wonder if someone could be perfect. You never believed perfection existed till you met him. But, hes not perfect perfect but perfectly flawed. All those hours you talk, All those memories you share, All those things he knows about you, But one thing he'll never really know, How you actually feel. And that's what really hurts
