What Love Should Be
I wander around this earth Doing the same routine everyday With my heart locked in a case. Change is coming, I can see it. Every once in a while, I get lucky. Life gives me a moment where I am born a new. She was little, no taller than five foot five Wearing a black, grey, and white checkered flannel. Every inch of her was perfect. From her hair, to her eyes, to her toes. It was as if god had made a tiny angel and she just so happened to stand before me. Her voice was gentle and pure, Her eyes were the gateways to heaven, and her smile shined brighter than the sun on a summer morning. I could do nothing else, but smile. I could’ve listened to her talk for hours— We could’ve shared our life stories. But like anything else in life, moments come and go. I hope to see this angel again For she has stolen my heart.
