Showdown
Silent steps are walking real slow. to a destiny but not wanting to go. The smell of death is coming fast. the quietness of the air won't last. All eyes watching and they just wait. getting restless at sensing one's fate. A fear inside people is what is felt. death cards are what they've been dealt. Steps come closer and finally in view. yards away but closer with each step or two. People become more quiet and the fear becomes more loud. eyes staring at each other while ignoring the crowd. Face to face they finally meet each other. sizing up the competition of one another. They take two paces back and get ready. eyes meeting eyes as their hands try to stay steady. The crowd finally waits for the final end. women are gasping in fright along with the men. Bullets are fired and a heart no longer will beat. as the eyes are closed to a sad defeat.
