Karma rewards acts of kindness, and punishes acts of cruelty, returning both many-fold over time! Random acts of kindness define humanity, offering a glimpse of our hearts and souls. We are social beings: we've learned to lean upon each other for support. We all need help at some point in time. No one is an island to themselves. Small, sometimes insignificant, gestures, such as offering your seat to a pregnant woman; can generate positive Karma. Faith is based upon blind belief that we have a soul. Therefore, humanity, as a whole, wants to feel compassion, wants to love, and be loved, fueling spontaneous acts of kindness. Yet, free will also allows for acts of indifference or cruelty: the choice is always ours to make. For that is our nature, that is who we are; social beings making choices in life that will define us; Karma is the manifestation of those choices.
