Lullaby In the Sunset
I. Tangerine sunset, so serene, most beautiful sight to be seen- aria of pink, yellows and blues, sangria sunset, saturated in hues. Falling below the fair reverie…(pause) let’s embrace this moment, you and me. Chorus: Oh, sing me a lullaby so sweet and true, so I may fall asleep at ease with you- you need not worry, for tomorrow will ring all the sweet music the angels shall sing- and morning peace this night shall bring. II. Content with the day we spent in love, for the stardust is falling from above- constellations are calling your name, we share a single spirit, one and the same. Euphony of love, made in sweet harmony... (pause) let’s embrace this moment, you and me. Chorus: Oh, sing me a lullaby so sweet and true, so I may fall asleep at ease with you- you need not worry, for tomorrow will ring all the sweet music the angels shall sing, and morning peace this night shall bring, yes…morning peace this night shall bring-- (pause, pause) oh, sing me a lullaby so sweet and true.
