My Funeral Note
(This poem is basically the note that I'll leave when I die) On a Monday morning, Your souls walk with gloom. Put on your black dresses, Newborn flowers won't bloom. Don't waste your money, On silly goodbye cards. I don't want the dried flowers, I'm another dead 'star'. An ocean dark blue had me drowning, No one could save me this time. Being alive was partial grounding, Being dead is not a crime. I've suffocated all these years, To be put down underground. Don't tell me that you're sorry, I'm gone for good now. Expressing non-existent feelings, Kill me even more. No one ever says thank you, For not death but gore. The cliche setting of the rain, On a funeral day. With black umbrellas shielding pain, Coming right from my grave. Maybe one day we'll meet again, Only if you wish. Today's the day I don't pretend. Sleep is my favorite dish. Sad ending to a fairy tale; A story never real. A heart that you can never fix, A soul you'll never heal.
