Real treasure. A thought on reality
Metals, stones, fossile fules, wood pulp ink and information. What do these things have in common?
They are concidered treasure by man. They represent and are represented as money. But are they really treasures? No they are only a means of obtaining the neccesities and pleasures of life. They are only a means of survival of you and your loved ones. So what is the real treasure? Is it people or loved ones or life itself? Or are people and loved ones and life itself only part of the map to reach the real treasure? Like all things in life and on earth it is all just part of the cycle of this life and does not last. It can all be destroyed very easily. Non of that is eternal. So what is the true treasure what is it that we seek for and live for? It is God and eternal life with Him. If there were no God then what would be the purpose of life but to procreate and continue the species just for the sake of existence. Which if you think about it is really a pointless endeavor. To simply exist for the sake of existence is no more than a rock being a rock. But with God there is purpose and reason. There is a moral compass to follow in order to facilitate our becoming everything that we can. To reach our infinent potential. The potential of being with God and a part of God and all that He is.
