a brief moment of life

“A brief Moment of Life”

1

Was I coming home from school or was it at school. The futility of wondering struck me with my age but I remember it well. The trash bag got caught in an updraft and floated around only to be swept up again by the breeze. It stood me like a stone apparent of air and all around but can’t do anything.

I was stuck.

It was like the dance of kung fu or monks of old. A sense of peace to their deadly dance.

It just hung there going up and down, around and about. Others came too but we could not reach it any of us.

I’d like to ask my classmates if this was a lessen or a teaching.

To find life in such a non-being but I did believe that in that moment there was something more. The bag had life. To consider this is to consider that we are nearly looking at the outer shell but whats inside is consistent with being molecules smaller and smaller until each of those molecules becomes a galaxy with life hidden and evolving uncounted years in a 20 second flight. The fact was after seeing this I would see universes everywhere. Leaves living and dying and turning into dirt. It was all too much for me to see that there was life everywhere so whatever we are truly in is alive and humanity as we go out and conquer worlds we progress like a disease.
