When Beauty Fades

I told my darling wife - you're my life,
You're beautiful and I love you
She gave me a dead smile
With her fathomless eyes filled with sadness
Do you love me because I'm beautiful? - she asked
Yes my love, you're beautiful - I said
Suddenly, her eyes welled up in tears
My dear, why do you have a teary eyes?
She said; I grief the love that will die soon
Oh! My love, why would our love die soon?
She held my hands firmly, fixing her pretty glare into my eyes saying:
I may be beautiful like flower this morning,
But I'll wither soon at night
I may twinkle like the stars up in the sky
But my spark won't shine till morning
I may be as bright as the noonday sun
But I won't shine through the murky night
I may be beautiful now to earn your love
But won't it die when my hair grizzled and break away
When wrinkle maps my face and my smile makes me uglier
When my eyes can barely see
How you've aged over time, yet handsome
When my bosom ruptures like airless bag
When my beautiful lips grow dry and pale
Would you still love me then
When my beautiful fade away into time
