If by chance

If by chance minutes turn into hours
and days turn into nights and I
no longer fill your thoughts with that
which once made you feel so alive...
If by chance choosing to conceal
yourself from me became routine
and you no longer see yourself in me
just please say so, so that I too can learn to let go.
