TOMORROW
Tomorrow,
The future we saw in the past
That eventually became present
Only to quietly translate into the past
Tomorrow,
Which was once the destination
Of our fears and hopes
Is now recounted as history
Tomorrow,
Yes, that of a generation
The today of some other
And the yesterday of another
Tomorrow,
Inconceivably important
Without it, today continues; or ceases
And yesterday may never have been
Tomorrow,
It lies in the past
We are only taught patience
And other virtues as we await it
Tomorrow,
For all, absolutely inevitable
For all, infinitely unsearchable
Still for all, deliberately amendable
