jokes on you

say it whatever you will about me trust I'm not pressed
now i admit back in my youth that was aim to stress
so attack me as you may happy journey at your quest
cause look at me now look at my life I'm considered truly blessed

i may not have all the riches or the health that i desire
I'm not proud of my pass i have ghosts that i don't admire
but i can hold my head up high for the few that i have inspired
so i can care less how much you dig and continue to conspire

for in the end my old friend my head will be held up high
cause i have faced my facts and accepted the truth ,need no alibis
i' m ready when approached with the questions of to when and the whys
and i truly hope that you are prepared to account for all of your lies
