White Life

Life is full of snow
And death;
Of burnt trees…
Bombed craters…
Gas;
Pain and fear limping merrily from one
Day to the next.
One month-
To the next.
In a blur of stench and remorse the sky
Is full of embers of fire with stars of golden red
flying like rockets across the horizon.
Falling and scolding our eyes to create a land of
Hate and death.
We fill our world with the dead.
And they hear us; speak to us; live with us.
Underneath our feet,
They burn forever in the heart and we stop to think
Until one day
Snap
Blackout.

    Life's never as planned, one minute we are on the outside, the next it is all gone. An infinite blackout. Zac, well done... LINDA
