Who Am I

Your thoughts go a long way in determining your future 
Positive thinking will allow you to portray your life in a way that only you can picture
Negativity creates a journey to unhappiness along the way
Banish those thoughts and your life will flourish I have to say
We can all become that person that we dream of being
Decide who you really are in your mind , then put it out there for the world to see
Form a picture of the life you wish to create , then follow through
Visualization is a tool you must use to become the ideal you
Even while sleeping your dreams can help you to see what you can become
To be successful with anything you want to achieve , you must make it fun

There are so so many options to choose from in life
Do what makes you happy with the least amount of strife
You are the captain that controls the destiny that you wish to create
Make a plan,the rest of your life is at stake
Draw a picture in your mind that would fullfill all your heavenly desires
Take that vision of a wonderful life and make that your reality,from that you will never tire
Fill it with family and friends and shower them with loive
Hold out your hands and reach for the stars high above

Pleasures

My love grows for her by leaps and bounds every day
Life is so much more electric I am happy to say
Every time our eyes meet sparks begin to fly
Stoking the flames of romance new things to try
Holding her in my arms brings a sense of warmth I can't describe
Her guide to love making I must suscribe
Our time together brimming with fun
A walk on the beach soaking up the rays of the sun
We find a place for a picnic on the sand
Hugs and kisses are exchanged life is so grand
Beautiful memories we will create together
We have discovered alot of ways to bring each other pleasure

So many people go out of their way to help our fellow human beings
The people who work our food banks volunteering their time behind the scenes
Our health care workers who help to keep us alive
The scientists who find cures to diseases that will help us survive
The first responders who respond to drug overdoses or are out there fighting crime 
People who clean up our beaches on their own free time
The courteous drivers who stop to allow you to enter the road
How about the people who just help out in the kitchen without being told 
The adults who devote their time to coach your children
Or how about the citizens who donate to help fill those charity boxes to the brim
So who is the big winner , I will let you decide
Go out and help someone out ,it's a sense of pride

My Music

Music fills my heart and embodies my soul
The sounds vibrate it's rock and roll
The band brings me back to days gone by
We are urged to sing along we must comply
The ground begins to shake as people start to dance
Bodies sway back and forth as off in a trance
I feel like I have been transported back in time
Bringing back the old moves its time to shine 
For just this moment my youth reappears
The pulsating sound music to my ears
The last song is about to be played
To be stored in my memory for another daqy

Natures Fury

A loud crack of thunder echoes close by
A flash of lighting darts across the sky
Ocean waves start dancing like in a club
Ominous dark clouds thicken high above 
Smoke begins to rise amongest the multitude of trees
The air quality is not good I start to wheeze
Sounds of sirens fill the night air
The forest has exploded into flames too much to bear
Like a scene out of a disaster movie only I am in it
Time to gather up some things ready to split
In my mind I know everything will turn out fine
One thing I know I will never forget this moment in time

Let The Music Play

Music is the perfect sound of beauty and emotional expression
Whether it be a simple folk song or a complex electronic composition
From its upbeat melodies and wonderful harmonies you can't help but sing along
What ever choice of music moves you , the choice you make you can,t go wrong
Riding in your car with the top down singing along with the band on the radio
The old time rock and roll blaring out with every tune you seem to know , only now it is in stereo
My first concert when I was young was the rolling stones , a night I will never forget
Tonight I will see them again sixty years later for alot  more money , but well worth it you can bet
Where would dancing be today without music to move us along
When was the last time you were in the shower listening to music and belting out the songs
From the baby in her crib falling asleep to a lullaby
Or the elderly line dancers in sync with the tempo othe music , mighty fine

Bear Encounter

The sun shines brightly through my bedroom window
Natures reminder to rise and take my head off the pillow
The kitchen calls out a hearty breakfast I must make 
It will give me energy for a hike around the lake
A gentle autumn breeze greets me as I begin my journey
The brightly coloured leaves drift slowly to the ground as a group of squirrels start to scurry
My body will thank me later for the exercise I am about to provide
Out of the bushes a black bear appears no place to hide
I hold my ground our eyes locked on each other
Two cubs suddenly appear to join their mother
Quickly they turn and scamper away
I will always remember this adrenaline filled day

Special Kind of Love

I can see in you eyes the love you have for me
Always to be your guiding light,just you wait and see
Will show you affection in lots of different and special ways
I will cherish the time we spend together each and every day
Look to me as your guardian angel to watch over you
To lift your spirits up if you are sad and blue
Surprise you with a romantic dinner and to always make it a frequent behaviour
Keep you warm cuddling on the sofa , with a bottle of wine to savour
Holding the car door for you not to become a thing of the past
A radiant glow from your eyes such an equisite cast
Several times a day I will tell you how much I love you
Finding that special someone , your a dream come true

Time Machine

The Time Machine is built and ready to try
Final preparations complete ready to say goodbye 
I would travel back to the day I was born
The machine fires up sending me airborne 
The next thing I know I am transporting my mom and myself from the birthing room
Looking at myself flashes great memories of days gone by
Now that I am seventy looking at me as a newborn I start to cry
I wonder what it would be like to start life over again
How would I change things from what it was like back then 
Suddenly an alarm goes off it was just a dream
It just goes to show things are never like they seem.
