He left
That night locking
Her away with a kiss;
Her soul captured by his spirit,
She stayed.

She waits -
For the spirit
To light her pitch-black days;
To breathe into her missing nights;
She’s still.

Broken Walls

She didn't know what was taking place;
Perhaps, I did love her in a strange way.
You're her mother,
And I had a choice to make,
To help these problems drift away.

binge loving

-1- binge loving

she is
one wild woman
three fingers of whiskey
drink in her love - bleary eyed moon

-2- her archer

bend me
over the moon
i quiver as a bow
drawn taut - his arrow piecing me

-3- gentle melancholy

bittersweet memories
whiskey and wine - waltz in my mind

-4- blood stained memories

peace wears
blood stained garments
red memories clinging
only the soap of war cleanses
old wounds
