Twist and Grind --Got This One Published

She's looking for the answers that noone seems to find.
As the gears in her head begin to twist and grind.
With all the things she sees how does she still feel blind?

Slowly sliding into the darkness.
Making yourself disappear seems like complete bliss.
What do you do when you're dreaming of a black abyss?

She knows with every second she falls farther away.
Telling herself that this can't be the only way.
Should she just sit and hope for a better day?

Is it bad when you lose who you are?
From yourself, is it possible to be to far?
She just continues to wish upon a falling star.

Everyone says just be you..
If you don't know who you are than what do you do?
She asks herself these questions and everything turns blue.

Slowly she falls farther and farther into her own nightmare.
It seems like everyone around her just stops to stare.
In the end she finds herself asking why should I care?

Did you ever let go?
Did you ever not know?
She's wondering which way she should go.

Did you ever push away the ones you should've held close?
Did you ever wish you could escape yourself the most?
She's wishing to just be free.. like a ghost..

Now, tell me this is she simply blind?
Once more the gears begin to twist and grind.
Still looking for the answers that noone seems to find.
