To My Son,Corey.

To My Son,Corey. I know you'd like to do much more, than what we often do I wish I could,I know I should,so it can be good for you, But it does'nt matter if I do or don't,because, you need to know No matter whatever comes to pass,I'll always love you so. I'd like to teach you to respect yourself, and appreciate what you've got Even though I know, you know,we haven't got a lot. That's not the point,it shouldn't be,no matter what you feel Cause having everything in this world,is really no great deal. Yeah, sure it'll make life easier,or so we'd like to believe, But the things that really matter my son,are the things that we achieve. Now I may not have achieved very much, But please don't dare to compare My life to yours,or anyone, Because, you are special and rare. Always remember,I told you,to give youself more credit, Cause there's not many people in this world, who really, will ever do it, Cause people are like money in banks, who might always be indebted, But don't take life too seriosly, and not even very light, Always be ready,to work or play,or surrender,or even fight. See all these things, you'll need to keep, inside your heart and mind, And if you ever lose sight of them, please look, search, seek and find, And if you need someone to help you,and I am not around, Remember God is always there, and He's easy to be found. So walk on my Son,and win the race, that God has set for you, And please remember,my little man,Mummy, will always love you. By Sharon.L.Leonard. 27th,July,2007.
