The Protector of the One-Percent

The Protector of the One-Percent By Elton Camp Who can identify this collective “man?” When a threat he does detect The wealthy he will protect For he is their special friend Will stick with ‘em to the end Moochers half the people may be Thus, the richest ones hold the key With them the wealth is found To others it will trickle down If more taxes they must pay Quit investing they just may The one-percent he does love Whenever push comes to shove Lesser ones he will deprive To keep his favorites alive The protector has saggy skin In a trunk his nose does end His ears are like a huge fan To big business he’s the man His initials I decline to tell I think you know him well
