The poet who never wanted to join the army

Gentlemen, I beg your pardon

Hereby, considering you as my sole guardian

Don’t send me to the battle ground

The mere sight of the gun makes me frown!

I am scared for not being prepared

My butt will get hurt and make an ugly sound

So dare not send me to the battle ground!!

My poetic fingers cannot pull the stubborn triggers!

The enemy will attack , seeing me relaxed !

So I decide my fate before it is too late!

If i have to serve the nation

I shall do with my creation

I can only throw an ink

Not a bomb as you think ..

so You can send me to the literary agents

As my true verses can earn dollars and cents.

so here is my statement

against this predicament !

the sight of the gun will make me frown

don' t send me to the battle ground !

Authors note- for all those poets or dreamers who are unwilling to join the army !
