The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY
My poetry consists primarily of rhyme
This form of poetry takes little time
I know I've written some so bad
Written some I wish I never had
But I prefer to think of the good
That tell the message I think it should
Like having a quiet time with God
Reminded of the sinful path I've trod
Poems of a child of virgin birth
Born to save mankind on earth
To break the chain that binds in sin
So they can spend eternity with Him
The good, bad, and ugly may be penned
By any poet with a message to send
But good outweighs the bad and ugly
I say this sincerely, rather than smugly
Therefore, my rhymes most likely will be
About the Savior who ransomed me
To help me live the life I should
That others perceive me as being good
