The Butterfly Who Would Never Be

I am a most important caterpillar
She said to me
Going about my life
My very busy life
I have a world of crucial things to do
I have a home a family and friends
I have a very prominent job
I am indispensable
I have goals and aspirations
Most grandiose of plans
I have so much to do
I am a most important caterpillar
And I need to live forever
