That Does Not Apply Anymore ...
How can you say that about any part of the bible?
Whether it be old testament or new ....
How can you say that?
But the old testament law was done away with....
When did the old testament get thrown out?
Well, Jesus came and did away with old law ...
Did He? I thought He came to make it flesh.
Jesus came to bring life to the Word.
I don’t see where He threw any of it out.
You take it all as God’s Word ...
Or throw it all out.
You can’t pick and choose what you want to follow.
God’s Word is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow!
And will be forever!
So what Bible are you following?
I don’t criticize you for what has not quickened in your spirit
But don’t tell me that my beliefs are done away with
Let God lead you in what you are to keep.
For He is what He is, and that is what I believe
Therefore, if He leads me to follow ALL the Word
Then so be it, I will follow All of the Word.
So please, don’t tell me ‘that doesn’t apply anymore’.
When God, through His Holy Spirit, shows me
What does and doesn’t apply, then I will understand
But by no man will I change how I believe
Nor will change how I live
My Lord will direct me, and you also, if you allow.
