Secret Never Sought

Looking in your eye is a secret I hate to watch you leave me Everyday I wish was two, making me that much closer to you A bridge that never ends, and drops you back at start The rope I just keep climbing with every twist and knot We crouch to make you feel taller Stare till you walk our way Around you there is no other no matter what they say Ill fall and let you walk Like a rodent I chase my wheel Noticing the scene never changes Leaves are gone and flowers dead All the charm of early season has fled Rot is becoming our foundation Im tired of waiting for the mail you never sent A soul never polished This secret you never sought
