rusty rain

from the side of a freight car
he indigo hangs
rail and metal wheels harmonize the rain
amidst the rust and thunder...
the message vapour clear...jesus saves
jesus saves.
climb aboard faith away your pain,
get down on brittle knees- be saved

resistance is the black blood of man
take care of number one,
everyone else be damned
live for the moment-
trash away the soul
there's always tomorrow
to share a heart of gold

on the side of a freight car
he indigo hangs
between sheila *ucked michael
 the angry whorl of gangs
rust and thunder spinning
to another strange land
destiny deciding where they'll land

a line of impatience grows-
red demons in their eyes
what does it matter,
everyone's gonna die...

jesus hangs from a freight car
in the rusted rain
nobody listening-
nobody caring
nobody saved
everyone damned
