Raul, often times in life our memories end up haunting and tormenting us as the years pass by - as you know I have many such memories of my own - You did an excellent job with this - Thank you so much for feeling my poem was placeable in your contest - I know that was a hard one and I'm very honored - always in my prayers, God Bless you, mj

Once again, you have captured the feeling. The one thing I've seen more often than not on the soup....is how often each one of us is able to share, and pour out hearts bearing nostalgia in our poetry. There is a healing that comes with those words, I believe. ~ Carrie

Dear Raul, I didn’t know that you wrote such beautiful haikus. I have only read Karen’s and Carrie’s haikus so far. All of you seem to be haiku masters, and I hope to learn to write haikus myself. Yours are beautiful, and I can learn a lot from you. Love, Amy.

I am nostalgic too with painful memories...I love to write Haiku's, especially in the traditional 5/7/5 syllable format. Nice haiku, Raul. All the best, Iolanda
