My first poem, in opposition to last poem

How can I express to you what it is that I really think
Words, vague expressions of though, only touch the brink
I try my very best to get the point across
Each time feeling that I am at a loss

Difficult as the situation may have always seemed
I always challenged that doubt and always dreamed

Doubt has fought back, and now hope is at it's end
Now only despair and loneliness do I have, to lend

The time has come for great sorrow
Now there is no yesterday nor tomorrow

Only the present, which is absent of all bliss
My own thoughts telling me what I will miss

Never did I have the chance to look into your eyes
So sad that before even knowing you, I must say goobye

It is a sad tale, but the birth of my poetry on the other end. I wouldn't write another poem after this one for a long time, well I'm not sure exactly how long, but a few months at very least.

Hello Wayland, wow... I like the feeling of ALMOST" here... I wish not to feel these expressions. I do not like the feeling of not feeling connected with the world when it comes to communicating with the importance of my reality. (love) I think sometimes it is better to walk away before you even try. WHY?? once you bring yourself into the land of the blank...LOL..there is hardly a chance to go back... enjoyed...LINDA

Well as always I enjoy your comments. The Almost does inspire us, but never fully satisfies us, however to have loved and lost is not necessarily better than to not loved at all. I see both sides, and respect your opinion in the matter, I'm still divided.
