Memories

Gloomy rays swallows the faint light,
as darkness cripples through the lazy air,
behind it's shadow light riddles unfair
slowly fading away,
...it has began...

a rack and manger of thoughts
some to be resolved...
some to be cheerished...
others are memories of one's glad rags
while some are part of the brain that rags with the heart,
stains and strains the mind!

the dying off of an hour
on the barrelhead to pay loving eyes to my wive and children,
behind the scenes heart backslapping,
scrapping acquintance with thoughts packed like sardines
some too good...
some too bad...

the dead days were filled with teardrops,
running afoul the roll of life made a rod for my back,
now scales falling off mine eyes
"...i can never be deceived..."
"...i can neeeeeeeeeever be deceived..."
