Lost Dreams, Limp Watches, Mad Hatters

Lost dreams, sad songs and pain There’s always payback And it’s usually not pretty One person hears a dissonant chord another hears a melodic ditty It’s about trust… And total devotion Of cold water’s metallic taste Utterly futility…the rushing about The more you chase time The more time you waste Killing time Until time Kills you You’re lost or merely mislaid With nothing left To hold onto Make the wind stop blowing Enough is not too much, my sweet You’ll always have my word I yearn to fly To clouds that bleed To fly away… like a bird

Foomp! I landed on one that I'd been feeling before, David! Love the title; mesmerized by imagery...much happenng in this write! If I'd read it last week, I would have wept.:( I think many of us get that urge, "To fly away.. like a bird", but once we climb into the sky, something tells us it's time to head back down.:) Best wishes to you!!! Might not be a good thing that you can relate to this one Michelle, but what the heck I'm glad you read it. Thanks much Michelle (and what a pretty name that is!!)
