Livefor the Moment.
I inhaled the beauty deep
the excitement as a child
paddling for the first time
through ripples that tickled
at feet.
I thought I knew this world
I thought that it knew me
but a message was sent in dream
that life can be better, I know, I've seen.
When you look at death head on,
when you've heard an angel in song,
you fight so for the strength to be strong,
appreciate whats here and more of whats gone.
So step outside your door,
see the trees, feel the breeze,
see them for the first time,
be that child you lost, somehow,
live for the moment, for the moment
is now.
