Its just my current situation, so theres no title.

Here I sit at home at night
Drinking beer while nothing seems right.
I listen to the same French song
This has been going on much too long.

With poetry I feel that I begin nearly
To see some things a little more clearly
My mind and the page are a powerful fusion
Or perhaps they are no more than a common illusion

I feel my path is no longer pure
But as to why I'm not so sure.
So I feel all that I do now is a sin.
But still, I long for my life to begin…

btw, if you wana hear the french song i was talking about here it is.

its really cool and mellow, and surprisingly from the 50's.

Graham, thanks kindly for your comments on Six Sixty Six. It's for the contest of for numbers by Deborah Guzzi. I have no fears about writing about anything as I am a something that's everywhere. I so enjoy writing listening to music with a small drink, just koolio >> James

Hi Graham, alcohol and music, a lethal combination for me, I do far too much thinking. Love that line - 'my mind and the page are a powerful fusion'. I be sure to look up that song. (Just one edit if you don't mind me saying - im / I'm) Enjoyed the read, thanks ~ Sharon :)
