I Chose My Dad To Be My Father

With the shiny lantern of wisdom Creeping through the dark tunnel of life To meet the world as far as I could; Boulders which curbed my path Kick them off as tiny round pebbles; Dad, You navigated me when I was young. Deem the pain of others as mine; Share the blithe of life among all; Aware us all breathing same air and dust Living on same Earth, under the same sun; You taught me things which were not in books; Dad, You were my first alma mater that I could trust. To be truthful in front of a bullet; Not to be greedy for power or wealth; Content with reap what I've earned; Fill my heart with love not with hate; I adore your vision though hard to lead; Dad, I follow you as FATHER of my life!
