Forever Or Never, Eternal
You took my hand and said “I love you”
There was nothing to say, speechless
Who would have known?
My eyes glimmered with tears of joy
All I had to say was two words
I hadn’t, it ruined my life
We don’t see each other anymore
No more hellos or goodbyes
Not even love
My world collapsed after you left
You took half of my heart
I had taken nothing from you
Was I stupid?
Why couldn’t I say two simple words?
Now I’m empty inside
The times we shared
The memories we cherished
They were all wasted
The only one who understood me is gone
You will never come back
Never ever
You walked away without turning back
You heard my cries but didn’t care
I guess love is working its charms
