Every Time You Go Away!
Alone by the river-side
where whispers hear each other bid,
i m caught in the quiet.
I listen to the murmuring waters,
where more is heard
than uttered.
I hear nothing.
I hear nothing.
All there be is silence!
In bed sorrow returns.
I m reminded that nothing
can bring back the moments that we shared.
Now, even now, i listen to the dark.
I hear nothing.
I see nothing.
I feel nothing.
The sorrow here does not sleep
...every time you go away.
