Defeat
in a single heartbeat
with your gentle smile
you crossed my void
smashing down
any thought of retreat
opening my heart
to your effortless intrusion
trusting you past all reason
wanting you holding you
beyond all survival
suddenly needing
this moment
with only you
unchallenged daring
completely
and forever true
