Dearest Petunia...

(spoken about my wife to our dog, Petunia) Dearest Petunia, how I love her so. Is this something your furry brain could know? I long for her as you long for a treat. I crave her touch as you crave to lick feet. She calms my calculations, lets me rest; Like when you find somewhere so soft to nest. Her smile renews me like sweet sunshine; You feel the same right before sleepy time. I think you miss her as much as I do, When we don't see her for a day or two. There's something I've realized, something of truth; She's a saint Petunia, she saved us both. Me from solitude and you from the pound; The Lord sent us an angel, so profound.

So absolutely romantic! Your wife is lucky to have people and animals to love her so... I got goose bumps reading this. Thank you for caring and being open to sharing. Lay =)
