Conversion, Not Conviction

He put his hands on a little baby
His thoughts and actions, total impurity
Does things that, to us, are so obscure
The kinds of things no one wants to hear.

His 9 year old son,
To his head- Dad holds a gun-
"Now you do as I say," trying to
convince the frightened boy,
"You'll like it, we're only going to play".

He has found his mark
Breaking into her home,
he planned to embark-
in the middle of night
the coward rapes her in the dark.

She is almost eighty
has always lived in love & safety
A happy life she has always lead
Until he beat her over the head
Spread his seed and disease
leaving her for dead, he simply fled.

Immediately thereafter,
He was caught,
his life now a disaster!
Behind bars they want him,
for "Some kinda social sin."

A sweet talking lawyer
convinced the jury he "had problems"
"No need for prison, sometime in a
Mental hospital"
"Conversion, not conviction."
"After all, most testimonies are
pure fiction."

This is the reality we, as a society,
face every single day.
Forget converting these freaks,
sexual predators - molesters
and child **** geeks.

I say fry 'em all
and let them know what it feels
like to be so helpless, so small.

Well, even if a person "has been done to", which a lot of them have...unless they are truly mentally incapacitated, I consider them fully responsible for their actions.

I do not wish my friend Amy to become the beast by taking this kind of action on her own soul. Michael Jordan who has been in prision will tell you this "people?' have their own actions visited upon them in prision. A mental instition is no walk in the park either! These "people" in most cases HAVE been "done to" also so it's areal quandry WHAT to do with them. Perhaps some kind of permantly implanted medication?

This is a powerful write that sheds light on the "sickness" that never goes away because the roots as as old as the world. Extremely disturbing as Matt says, but this is reality for so many, everyday, everywhere, believe it or not. Will mail him a copy. Love, Audrey

God Darn! That's extremely disturbing. Great writing. It's great to be able to paint a picture with your words, but man that's a little to vivid for me. They absolutely should fry the perpetrator and then the other savage that defended him. I wouldn't mind the smell of people like that burning up here before they go to hell. Nice write. I'll be following your work. Good stuff!!!

don't get me wrong here, Jessica. I don't mean EVERY single sex offender should be put to death. I mean the "hardcore" ones. Serial rapists and molesters, the aggressive ones, with DNA evidence. So on and so forth. Kinda like with the death sentence with murderers, it would depend on the situation.
