Attitude - Gratitude
Remember me?
I used to be anxiety,
percolating in the mind,
a belief of happiness denied.
A pointless act it was, to yearn,
but without disappointment,
what would we learn?
Stressors are teachers,
yet seen as a curse.
The problem with bubbles,
they inevitably burst.
You cannot evolve
while you contemplate,
such an unfair world
in your lamentable state.
Be mindful that picked scabs will scar.
Lay on the grass and count the stars.
Everyday, learn something new,
realise life hits harder than you.
Embrace a more positive attitude,
perhaps show a little more gratitude,
put yourself in your enemies shoes,
learn to laugh if you're destined to lose.
So smile, you're alive!
Don't let that smile slide,
arrive at the grave saying
Dayum, what a ride!'
