Anxiety -Frida Kahlo Contest

I sit here
Hair all around
I am shorn
My hair has gone
But my anxiety remains

Why do I feel so useless
Why do I feel that I have been torn apart
Only to be put back together
With a hole where my soul once lived

So I cut my hair
To be free
I am not free
I am without.
Now I must paint
Draw my soul
To return it to its place

Will I then be free of my anxiety.

Painting: Self portrait with cropped hair

This is a beautifully written write my friend! I am so very impressed with the way you have put together this illustrious poem! I really enjoyed reading this amazing piece this evening! Sorry I haven't been around the past couple of days, my grandmother died on Friday, it is so sad, she had emphysema so bad she just lost her breath and passed away by the struggle to just breath! What a brilliant verse, Great Work!!
