After each line I regret it
It can't get much worse
Load this verse in a hearse
As readers try to forget it

Hi Debby….hope it’s not too bad. We all lose some cognitive ability as we age, but nature is unforgiving to some of us. You have a loving poetic style that will stand the test of time. oh gosh I simply can't find one to comment on!! Now I'm on fifth best one (according to Soup ) and I see I was first to comment to this one back in 2013!! I think it's funny how they have our poems ordered by "best" based on faves we probably get (or most comments or something) anyway, this truly is one of your best!!
