-Riddling Mores-

Why peoples
of all kinds
rally eagerly
to festivals and fetes
crowd temples and churches
to celebrate any
wondrous cause
in joyous applause
Then see them gather
with the same harmony
as they rush to their
inane demise
in times of wars
in opposite mores

Haha! So true! It seems people, just as easily turn on each other like they'd change a hat! I wonder sometimes, are we living consciously or sleepwalking through life...or maybe we're just shallow, living superficially, like the stuff we collect and not living a deeper, fuller, richer life, in our spiritual selves..Still, the optimist, 'til the end I will hold on to hope! Thanks for sharing this, my friend. Great work as always. Love, Annalise
