Philosophies Fire

Had I but a moment of insight true, To echo notes of Homer's Lyre, And wrestle from stars which I pursue, The arctic chill of philosophies fire, I'd wander the depths of my Eleusinian soul, Pray the orphic note endure, And through an image cast upon a stone, Rise from the visible to the obscure, And blessed may I carry in life's early prime, Danu's symphony, hallowed vibrations, The ethereal soul through heights sublime, The emerging light of primordial creations
