Let It Shine

Let it shine It darkens my memories where once there was light; And its shadow disrupts me for perhaps I must fight. And here to my left sits the lady of plains; But her voice is quite pleasant as she speaks out my name. But the hands on the face have always moved on; And chance ebbs in silence and is soon to be gone. And I’m counting the minutes in which I’ve delayed; And why am I acting as if I’m afraid. In the quiet of silence I’m drowning at sea; And this is the moment of the last thing I’ll see. It’s been thousands of life times this voice in the dark; And I am its keeper as I sit here in park.
