Slowingsunrise
The excitement of youth, running down the street not walking
Listening to my thought, I can actually understand myself
I was in a hurry for some reason when I was looking for life
Seems now the smile has replaced the eyes desire to roam
I hear the whisper of my heart satisfied with love,
not my bodies cry for wistful encounter. Oh ‘tis not that I don’t still live
nor does it mean I do not hunger passion, it is only now that I know
to savor, waft the perfume, picture clear the true beauty of a Woman
Holding hands, talking, later believing I have all the time in the World to love
Knowing true the color of The Flower and slipping Into the sunset with feelings
that linger.
