Running Across It
There you are, your knife in your hands you can feel the handle resting in your palm and you feel the edge as you run your finger across it hard enough to scrape the dead skin off you finger tip. Your whole body shakes in anticipation, waiting for the lights to go out..... Click! Easing your way through the yard you pick up scents from the multitude of flowers and the musty smell of dew. Then as you cut the screen in a window you hear each wire ting as they break. Slithering through the screen you feel another rush as adrenaline mixes with your blood, barely breathing I sneak into the upstairs bedroom, closing the door behind me. You feel your head lighten and your sight becomes crystal clear as you feel another rush move through your body, sending tingles all throughout it. You spot some locks of her hair laying nappily on her pillow, almost hovering you move closer, almost without touching you tangle your fingers in her hair, take a deep breath, and with all your strength you yank the hair, snapping the head back, you stare into her eyes as they open, first showing bewilderment, then they widen, showing fear as they focus on me...... Ssinktt! is all that is heard as you push the knife into her neck from left to right, you can feel it cut the skin as it passes through and you watch as life leaves her eyes Aahhh!! Feel that rush as every cell in your body tingles and you feel the jagged edge of your knife tear the flesh as you rip it out.
