Conscious Thoughts
How can you be happy if you’re always depressed? How can you be calm when you’re constantly stressed? How can you think positive when negative thoughts hit your brain? How can you act normal when the whole world’s insane? How can we sleep at night with all the problems on earth? How can we enjoy our lives when so many people are being hurt? How can we throw away food when so many are dying from starvation? How can any intelligent person embrace globalisation? How can we complain about not winning the lottery? When the majority of the world are living in poverty. How can we turn a blind eye to all the injustice that’s happening on a daily basis? How can people fight over something silly like different types of races? How can you make a difference if you have an unconscious mind? How can you see things clearly when you’re obviously blind? And my body is getting hotter, but the world keeps getting colder, I have so many thoughts on my mind, I could file them in a folder. I wish there were no starving children, I wish I could feed them all, I wish people would stop wishing for another person’s downfall. I wish that we all paid more attention to the real problems on earth, I wish that so many children weren’t bullied and treated like dirt. I wish that poverty, greed and genocide never existed, I wish this planet wasn’t so wickedly evil and twisted.
