A Moment In Solitude
At dawn when you look through the crevice of a window you will see nature's iniquity: a colorless world, frozen tear drops sprinkled as ash from heaven, and the wet-wind from autumn's breath--given birth at a glance. At first you begin to wonder how vague the world is when dressed and how tempting her features when the drunken sun unveils her reality, As the hour turns grey; nature fades gently, till you can hear the rebellious sounds of unseen crickets, the killing gossips of a trader's tale in paris, and the sweet-tempered lies from drunks and Shoe shiners. The sounds continue in sequence till sleep befriends' your eyes. No one else can hear your faint murmurs, only nature can interpret. In altum: the wind, the lantern and your foes watch the bewildered synopsis of your dream. They come as life, a path and a woman, tempting as the eyes of Medusa. As the night gets younger you realize that you have been romanced by time to believe the unimaginable. Then you sit up, astound at fate; thinking about the recurring whispers you hear--the lies from a maiden and the wisdom hidden between her thighs. You begin to feel her cold sighs on your skin. The wind, the lantern and your foe watch still as they remind you of the sins you inherited. Then she cuddles you to sleep. Telling tales of a new world: of glistened houses, of gold cities, of pride and of fair maidens. ...you lay calmly, thinking about the miracles dawn brings, not knowing the consequences of a lie.
