As She Slips Away
When you're sitting there alone, Surrounded by your blades, All that's going through your mind, How many pills will it take? Before you start to slip away, Before your heart begins to fade, Before it takes the pain away, Will they find your body today? You think that no one cares, There's that boy whose always there, But there's nothing he can do, He’s scared what will happen if… You start to slip away, When your heart begins to fade, When he starts to feel your pain, Will he use those blades today? Still tonight is your night, You’ll leave it all behind, Write them each a letter, Telling them all why... You have to slip away, Why your heart now must fade, Why you felt all that pain, Why was it today? Your mother now feels the pain, Your brother's using your blades, Your father is not the same, And that boy, what can I say? He wants to slip away, He's no heart left to fade, He can’t take this pain, He is joining you today....
