No Words To Describe How Precious
A tree is a marvelous thing. It provides us with oxygen, so we can breathe, a shady spot with summers so sultry, a grand adventure for a man soon to be. When you climb it's branches you can see the city! But at the end of the day a tree is just a tree. It has no heart and it has no soul. It can never hope to be completely whole, like you or me. Birds are also a beautiful thing. They will sing a chorus to greet the morning. They cherish the day and everything it brings, and when you see them flap their little wings you know deep inside, that life is a beautiful thing. But at the end of the day a bird is just a bird It can't make decisions like you and I. It has no knowledge it will ever die, so I'm here to spread the word It's irrevocably absurd to compare a child with anyone of these things; a tree, a bird, a gust of of wind, or a blade of grass. A child is infinitely more precious than all of that. A child is you deep down, whether or not you expected it's coming. And I don't believe any parent really knows what he or she is getting themselves into, when they make room for a child coming through. It may not be so black and white when something like this falls into your lap. It may not just be about food or money, perhaps it's way more complicated than all of that. But at the end of the day life is life and death is death, who are you decide who takes their final breath? ... especially when that child never even experienced the sensation of breathing... "Truly children are a gift from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward" (Psalm 127:3).
