Behind the Closed Door
I cry alone, behind closed doors. Can't you see the position you've put me in? I can't even be me. I can't even be free. And so I cry behind this lonely closed door. Why do you push me to the breaking point where I'm not even safe anymore? Why do you have to break me? Why do you strive to make me cry behind closed doors? I've had enough of this, why do we have to fight? I'm not even alive anymore. Enough of the wars, the battles, the promises broken. The tears I've cried, every memory ruined as I try to find my way into a better light... into a better, harmonious life. Why must I cry behind this lonely closed door? Why must I hide behind something so unforgiving, something so cold, something that isn't even safe anymore? I wander in search of something more; and so I cry alone, behind this closed door.
